Munich, August 25th 2016 - incadea, a Cox Automotive™ Brand, is pleased to announce its participation in Automechanika Frankfurt 2016 (Sept 13-17, Hall 9.1 Stand D06) - the world’s leading trade fair for the automotive service industry, and the shop window for innovations in the automotive aftermarket across the entire value chain.
This year, incadea, as a leading provider of enterprise software solutions and services to the global automotive retail and wholesale markets, sets new standards in digital sales and premium service through the launch of DEALER 4.0, a unique, futuristic dealer showroom concept empowered by cutting edge software and state of the art technologies. It is a technology rich concept with nearly limitless capabilities, aiming to revolutionize the way car manufacturers and dealerships sell cars, position their brands, and do business.
An innovative dealership concept – a futuristic car showroom empowered by the Microsoft Cloud and Windows 10, and a customer centric strategy to transform automotive retail
The desire of auto manufacturers and dealers to create the perfect showroom has been around for several years, with many technology vendors proposing digital dealership concepts. However, in moving from the past, in which potential customers were excited to see and experience a physical car at a dealership, today’s web-informed consumers want both digital configuration, a tactile experience, and expert consultation and purchase possible anytime and anywhere at a location more convenient to them. In order to meet these expectations while achieving the best possible “closing” rate for the dealer, a significant shift towards a more interactive, digital, personalized, and engaging experience is required.
In a sea of digital partial solutions, incadea’s innovative Dealer 4.0 offers a business model that leads to closeness with the customer that actually furthers measurable increased conversion.
DEALER 4.0 supports the customer journey from dealer and OEM Websites and social media through to physical retail locations frequented by consumers. This starts at the “attract” stage, in which consumers are drawn in to a boutique showroom situated at, for example, a shopping mall, before enabling the “discover” and “decide” phases, where consumers engage through state-of-art digital and non-digital tools and excellent consultation. The journey ends with the ‘transaction’ phase where prospective customers receive a quote for the car of their interest and discuss next steps with the sales consultant – from having a test drive to signing the deal.
DEALER 4.0 brings together immersive customer experiences such as a Glass Wall Configurator with powerful analytics and lead management tools that help sales associates engage their customers with more personalized offers, providing better customer service and ultimately increasing sales. Customers use a touch screen powered by Windows 10 to visualize configuration options such as colors and trims. In-store tracking analytics enabled through Microsoft Kinect and Windows 10 provide insight into customer interest areas and dwell times, and sales associates stay connected on the move with Windows 10 tablets. In addition, DEALER 4.0 can tap into telematics data held in the Cloud to determine a consumer’s driving style, providing the capability to offer more personalized services such as customized insurance quotes.
With Microsoft’s support, incadea has invested heavily in building a pioneering concept – to transform the retail experience in the years to come – by combining technologies that are available today in a unique, new way. Encouraged by significant demand, the turnkey commercialization of this concept is proceeding apace.
Rafal Jacaszek, Vice President Sales and Marketing, Software International at Cox Automotive stated, “When it comes to delivering an optimal customer experience – an innovative customer journey across the whole sales cycle and beyond is the only way forward. Consumers expect and demand an exciting purchase experience more than ever. Dealer 4.0 is not really a vision, and surely, it is not a trend – it is more of a business need –which we have recognized, analyzed and designed a strategic solution around. It is a concept that blends digital revolution with exceptional customer service, all enabled by real time big data analysis,” he continued. “For many traditional car dealers, addressing the increasing consumer demand for a more satisfying and interactive retail experience successfully requires a significant reorientation of their business model; we are here to support them to move forward and enable them to thrive.”
Sanjay Ravi, WW Managing Director, Discrete Manufacturing, at Microsoft, commented that “Incadea’s DEALER 4.0 solution powered by Microsoft will help dealers in four key areas: Windows 10 will help dealers connect with their customers with tablets and displays powered by intelligent customer recognition technology. These dealerships of the future will tap into the data intelligence platform of Microsoft Azure to help sales associates support their customers as they decide on the vehicle that fits their exact specification. With Microsoft Dynamics as the underlying business process platform, DEALER 4.0 will streamline the process for sales associates, freeing them to focus on connecting with customers to provide them with the car of their dreams. Finally, with DEALER 4.0., dealers receive the benefits of an adaptive, digitally interactive store without compromising on enterprise grade security and manageability, which is critical when we are talking about customer data.”
At Automechanika Frankfurt, incadea will offer Dealer 4.0 ‘experience tours’ to booth visitors that have already registered through the company’s Website. For more information, please contact email@example.com or visit the company’s website at www.incadea.com.
